What is a 'Kerygma Teams Discipleship Training School (KT DTS)?

The KT DTS is a 22-week program of formation & hands-on ministry experience for young people who want to discover their unique calling in the greater mission of the Church and become more active in sharing their faith as Catholics. Its about living, learning & praying together in a community of faith.

Some features of the training:

• · Practical teaching sessions, ministry to one another, coaching in creative skills, community worship & celebration of the Eucharist.
• · Small group sharing, one-on-one interaction with staff, study assignments, time for personal prayer
• · Working with a team on an outreach project, taking turns with housework & times of recreation & sport.
• · 10 weeks of exposure to some of the needs & opportunities in the world, discovering that God does want to use you to impact His Church & His world.
• · This DTS has been specifically designed for Catholic students. However, the training is also suitable for other Christians, who are open to learning about Catholic faith and spirituality. It would be especially useful to those who have a heart for & calling to work in the Catholic world & equip lay Catholics for missions.
